Ive first tried Mariage Frères Marco Polo in Korea. I couldnt forget the taste so as soon as I came to the US, Ive started looking for some stores that sells Mariage Frères products. And Thanks God I found this site. There were several different teas of Mariage Frères, so I immediately changed my mind to try another Mariage Frères. Then I just picked this one because I liked the describtion, study underpinnings. And I love this tea, it tastes light, properly floral, and less sweet than Marco Polo. I usually have it in the morning, and Ive had this tea this afternoon after my light brunch--it was A HEAVEN. smells relaxing, fruity but it does keep the bitterness as a kind of black tea. I will visit this site and buy another Mariage Frères soon, for sure.

A friend of mine who lives in Paris bought this for me as a gift. (There is a chic retail shop on the champs elysees in Paris.) It is by far the best tea I have ever had! When you first open the tin you notice the delicate beautiful purple flowers contrasted against the black tea as the delicate aroma of almonds wafts out. The description says "almond and sweet spices black tea". I don't notice the spices being dominant, if any, they are subtle. A wonderfully balanced and lovely tea. Makes a great gift or mid-morning treat! Very unique flavor and the most heavenly tea!
