This is my go to cook book when I'm pressed for ideas or want to create something special. Very well written and does not assume you know all techniques. It has the most use of any of my approximately 3 dozen general cookbooks.

As an Avid cookbook collector, this is one of my favorite cookbooks. There are some terrific recipes and it is fun to go through and find and create meals for entertaining friends and family.

The book is fantastic. There are recipes in it from simple to complex. I have made quite a few things, and never a complaint from anyone. I have to say that the coq a vin is probably the best I have ever had (even if I say so myself) :-)
