Well I purchased these for Christmas gifts for clients, close relatives, close friends. Problem is they are so darned good that I just kept the boxes for myself. I make 3 boxes last about 3 months. The pecans are so fresh. The chocolate is smooth as silk. The caramel is not sickly sweet. They are quality above and beyond. They are more than delicious. I actually HIDE the boxes from my loving spouse who fails to appreciate these wonderful treats. My idea of indulgence: a cup of Mariage Freres tea (Pleine Lune - Dean and Deluca) and one of these tortels. A quiet space looking at out at the lake. I am in heaven or as close to it as I will ever get.

I have wonderful memories of long ago Christmas Days with my Grandfather when he would share a turtle from his Christmas gift with me. My mother would make them for him and they were perfection. I have lost both Mom and Pop and have searched high and low over the years for a turtle that would take me back to that moment. I have never had any luck until now. Thanks for helping me bring the wonderful memory back with the first bite (and every bite after) to the last. These are the best turtles ever, well, except for Mom's! Thank you Dean & Deluca for introducing me to Bridgewater Chocolates.

Well, yes they are rich but if you like caramel, nuts and chocolate combo these turtles are sinful. The company makes them with almonds as well and you can order only dark chocolate (I personally won't eat milk chocolate if my life depended on it:-))

Just right amount of nuts (pecans?), caramel, and chocolate (6 milk, 6 dark) to be decadent, not too sweet.

Sent to my in-laws who we were going to visit over the holidays; they were upset when my husband scarfed 2 down in succession...

These are by far the best Turtles I have ever had. Whenever I fly into NYC, I have to visit the Soho store and search for these Turtles. If they don't have them, I order a box on-line. These are best right out of the fridge. I highly recommend these chocolates.
