Initially bought these to use in future Caesar salad, but husband opened up to sample. The jar was empty within one day!! Expensive for a small jar, but worth it. Not fishy or salty at all, almost buttery

I bought the Anchovies as a part of a wedding present. It was a recipe shower, by recipe was Caesar salad. I thought the Anchovies had shelf life. I didn't give them as part of my present. However, my husband and I are up on our omega-3s, we aren't complaining. The Anchovies have a great favor. We discover several new recipes for Anchovies and the are a great treat. If you have tried them these are the BEST!
