    Sprinkle over everything, or just pour on a dish to dip with bread, the flavor, color and smell of Olio Verde is unparalleled in the oil business, that is why you see some of the best NY Chefs using it where it really matters on top of really thin fluke, with bread or making a plain salad exceptional. It is like good perfume, a little bit goes a long way!

          The first time I tried this oil was the first time I truly cared about olive oil. This is simply the best. Always tastes fresh and always feels like I am doing good for my body when I eat it. Just squeeze some lemon with Olio Verde and you have amazing salad dressing.
          Great dip and amazing for lightly cooking veggies too.

          I bought Olio Verde Olive Oil with much anticipation after countless hours - years really, of watching food shows where chefs 'drizzle a little finishing oil' on the fish, pasta, whatever. I've always used good EVOOs, but I wanted to try the extra-special EVOO. I meant to save the Olio Verde to drizzle on a cooked dish, but instead I was inspired to make focaccia for the purpose of dipping it in the oil to eat simply. OMG!!! OMG barely covers it. The scent, the viscosity, the color, the complex and delicate flavor. My husband and I just kind of stared at each other, both with slack-jawed looks of OMG, OMG, OM freaking G. The focaccia didn't see Tuesday.
          Can't recommend this highly enough. So delicious, beautiful bottle. Five stars.

            The absolute best use of this olive oil is to dip your slice of Acme sourdough bagette into it. As an appetizer, if you add a little kosher salt and fresh ground pepper medley and or good balsamic vinegar or Moscatel vinegar you will have a comfort food experience. If you add an artisan round of fresh goat cheese, my friend, you have dinner. A good pinot, such as La Crema, will round it out.

                In early November I was lucky enough to visit the place where this product is produced. Purchased only one bottle (no more room in the suitcase) , should have bought another suitcase!! The flavor of this oil is unmatched in homemade salad dressing. As a bread dipper it is outstanding. The flavor of this green-gold oil is something I have not found in any other oil. The Becchina family code dates their vintages, try to get the 2008 for a wonderful experience.
