This is just a good cup. The handle is comfortable, design is sleek, the capacity sufficient, the quality is superb. The insulation is very good. I broke one recently and it was revealed that the ceramic is actually quite thick, so drinks stay warmer for longer periods of time. I placed an order for 4 mugs, which should last me a good many years. I use them one at a time and keep the others for safe keeping in the event that they break.This is the only mug you'll ever want to use.

I got the mugs because unfortunately I'm not in NYC as much as I'd like to
Be so it's a great reminder of my mornings at Dean and Deluca. But they are dishwasher safe and look good. It looks as it will hold up to the test of time. We hall see!

Bought these years ago and they went away.....so glad they're back. Keeps coffee warm due to the shape and great for lattes, etc. Best!

I love this mug! I use it throughout the day for hot water (yes,I'm a water drinker...)and find the shape, balance, volume to be just about perfect. I'd prefer that it come in white since black shows fingerprints, smudges, etc., and generally don't like logos, but it's worth it to have this wonderful mug. I've purchased them several times in order to have extras so that if over time breakage by clumsiness occurs, I'm still covered. The mug is not fragile, however. Very sturdy and well made. About as good as they come!

It's hard to get excited about a coffee mug but I agree with the other reviewers. This one is about perfect. I picked up one in NYC several years ago and reach for it every single morning. Love the size, look, durability, etc. It broke the other day (falling onto a concrete patio) and my morning coffee is not the same. I'll be placing an order today.
