Our rich, traditional pasta sauce gets its intensely fresh flavor from sautéeing onions, garlic, carrots and celery in a blend of olive and sunflower oils, blending in vine-ripened tomatoes, oregano, and a little sea salt, and letting the whole thing simmer slowly for hours. The only thing that could make it any better, is a grating of fresh Parmigiano-Reggiano on top.
