I have absolutely no idea whether or not this product is good. I purchased it as a Christmas gift in mid December and although it arrived in plenty of time, the lid was loose and the product had leaked out. Despite contacting Dean and Deluca immediately, I just received a replacement today (January 16th). And this bottle arrived in the EXACT SAME condition as the first - unsealed, leaking and UNUSABLE. I'm sure this is an excellent product and I'm sure that my friend would have loved it. Maybe at some time in the future I'll buy another bottle to try - but definiltey NOT from Dean and Deluca. Service - FAIL. Product - I wish I could tell you.

I am absolutely in love with this mix, and so happy to find it for less with Dean and DeLuca, even with shipping, than I typically have online.
I like my Bloody Marys spicy and strong — and this is perfect! It does have a strong vinegary taste, which may be a bad thing to some people, but I love the flavor. It is made from the pickle brine McClure's uses to make their pickle products!
There are a lot of great spicy notes and garlicy flavors, without all the artificial ingredients you'd find in the mixes at your local supermarket. I wanted to find the most natural mix I could on shelves, and this is as good as it gets.
I do however recommend mixing this with mixed vegetable juice as the flavor straight is very! intense. I mix a 1:1 ratio of mix to vegetable juice, and add 1-1.5oz vodka. It is a little extra work to add another ingredient, but after finding the right ratio of mix to juice to vodka, you'll fall in love with this product. I like to think of it as a perfect concentrate that you can double, even though that wasn't McClure's intention. Until I work on creating my own Bloody Mary Recipe, this is perfect and goes twice as far!

After my second attempt, I find the jury is still out on this one. The first taste is offputting but seems to get better with each sip. It tastes overwhelmingly of pickle juice. I can't say I would buy it again but I won't throw out the bottle either.
